The International Labour Organisation (ILO) administrative tribunal has on 7 July reprimanded Luis Moreno-Ocampo, the International Criminal Court's chief prosecutor. The ILO says he should not have dismissed the court's head of information, Christian Palme. Palme will recieve 25,000 Euros moral compensation.

Mr Palme made a complaint in October 2006, alleging that Mr Moreno-Ocampo was guilty of sexually abusing a woman journalist in South Africa. The chief prosecutor was cleared after the woman stated there had been no sexual violence.

The ILO has censured Mr Moreno-Ocampo for personally intervening in the dismissal of the information chief, saying he should not have become involved.
