There should be a way to judge the architects of the invasion in Iraq by international criminal law. The impunity of people who are accused of the most heinous crimes against humanity is declining the last couple of years. There is an permanent International Criminal Court erected in 2002 that is supported by 106 countries.

Slobodan Milosevic, Charles Taylor and Saddam Hussein had to defend themselves before international tribunals, but Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz have nothing to fear. Belgium lawyers tried to indict them, but had to stop their attempts after the United States stepped up the pressure. Spain also tried to prosecute Chilean dictator Pinochet without success.

If there is no official legal way to judge the policy of the American political leaders, should we not look for alternative methods?

I'm an American and I completely agree that the Bush administration should be prosecuted for war crimes. I have military sources that say it is policy to kill women and children. Dick Cheney ordered the torture of people by name. The US will not even impeach this criminal President and his administration. There has to be a way to bring these criminals to justice. I implore you to bring charges in the World Court against these people.

i am not an american but i am totally agree to this that they should be tried in the court .High-value detainees captured during the Bush administration's "war on terror," who were subjected to brutal torture techniques, were used as "guinea pigs" to gauge the effectiveness of various torture techniques, a practice that has raised troubling comparisons to Nazi-era human experimentation. according to a disturbing new report released by Physicians for Human Rights, an international doctors' organization.

PHR, based in Massachusetts, called on President Barack Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder and the US Congress to launch investigations into the role of physicians and psychiatric experts in the monitoring and assessments of the brutal interrogations.
